Jon Jones was caught in the middle of the weirdest face-off of 2025.
The ‘Dirty Boxing’ promotion he co-owns with Mike Perry will host its second event on Saturday night.
On Friday, Jon Jones joined his former UFC colleague in Miami to watch the fighters make weight.
Afterward, things got out of hand when the fighters competing at Dirty Boxing 2 squared off.
Jon Jones pulls Rob Perez away during his pre-fight face-off with Alex NicholsonDirty Boxing face-off gets weird
Jaizinhzho Rozenstruik will compete for the first time since his UFC release in the Dirty Boxing 2 main event.
However, another UFC veteran stole the show as his pre-fight face-off got weirdly sexual.
33-fight MMA veteran Alex ‘The Spartan’ Nicholson will face Rob Perez in an undercard bout.
When they came face-to-face ‘The Wolf’ immediately played down his opponent’s size advantage.
“You ain’t no 6’4, b—-,” Perez said.
“You should see my d—,” Nicholson bizarrely replied.
Perez was completely stunned by the strange comment, but their interaction only got weirder from there.
“I could hold you down and f— you,” Nicholson repeatedly shouted to make Jones’ jaw drop.
Jones, Perry, and several members of security eventually stepped in to separate the two men.
“F—— weirdo over here,” Perez commented after the amazingly odd staredown came to an end.
Jon Jones evades questions about his future
Talks for a UFC unification fight between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall have been ongoing since last year.
After UFC 316, Dana White claimed Jones ‘accepted the fight’ with the interim heavyweight titleholder before seemingly backtracking.
Jones shared his surprised reaction to White’s comments when he joined the Dirty Boxing 2 fight week festivities.
Asked by Bloody Elbow’s Bloody Elbow Donagh Corby if he had heard White’s statement, he replied: ”No, I did not.”
“When told that the UFC boss had said Jones accepted the fight, he asked, “Is that what he said?”
The greatest fighter in MMA history jokingly claimed he would share all about his fighting future at the upcoming event he is co-promoting.
When asked if he would change his mind on fighting Aspinall if he were to come to a Dirty Boxing event, Jones replied: “Yes, you’ve got your quote right there.”
