Jon Jones seemed shocked to be called out by his own fighter on Saturday night while sitting ringside at DBX 2 in Miami.
Robinson ‘The Wolf’ Perez made a name for himself, and earned a shot at the newly-signed Jairzinho Rozenstruik, with an impressive knockout of UFC veteran Alex Nicholson. And while that fight is more realistic, he also went for the big man while celebrating his victory.
Jones is currently locked in a UFC stalemate, with fans pleading for him to unify the heavyweight division with Tom Aspinall. However, he didn’t seem anywhere close to that while enjoying the festivities in Miami this weekend.

Following Perez’s big win, he headed to ringside where he ran into the UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Despite the fact that Jones is technically his boss as a part-owner of Dirty Boxing Championship, ‘The Wolf’ wasn’t hesitant to call him out to his face.
“You next,” Perez declared, with Jones raising his hands to indicate that is not something he is interested in at all. As the cameras stayed on the UFC legend, he proceeded to point to himself in ‘why me’ pose and asked “Me? What the f—?”
Fans were quick to compare the moment to the viral meme of 50 Cent where the rapper can be seen asking viewers “What he say f— me for?” The moment dates back to when 50 Cent was feuding with boxing icon Floyd Mayweather, who dissed him alongside multiple other rappers, much to his shock.
Jon Jones has been baffled by ‘The Wolf’ all week
Jones being confused by the behaviour and trash talk of Perez is not exclusive to Saturday night, particularly given how he acted during Friday’s ceremonial weigh-ins. He looked visibly disturbed by the bizarre trash talk between the two heavyweights during their face-off.

When he and Nicholson came face-to-face ‘The Wolf’ immediately played down his opponent’s size advantage. “You ain’t no 6’4, b—-,” Perez said. “You should see my d—,” Nicholson bizarrely replied, before making it even weirder.
“I could hold you down and f— you,” Nicholson repeatedly shouted to make Jones’ jaw drop. Jones, Mike Perry, and several members of security eventually stepped in to separate the two men. “F—— weirdo over here,” Perez commented after the amazingly odd staredown came to an end.
