An Edinburgh high rise fire led to six casualties, after the blaze broke out in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, along with police and paramedics, were called to Hawkhill Court on Restalrig Park at around 12.55am on Sunday morning. Footage from the streets shows a huge emergency services response outside the flats, as residents watch on.
The condition of the casualties, four men and two women, is not currently known. A resident who lives nearby the building claims it was evacuated amid the incident.

An SFRS spokesperson said: “At 12.55am on Sunday June 15 we received a report of fire in domestic stairwell at Hawkhill Court on Restalrig Park.
“We dispatched four appliances and one high reach appliance. We worked along SAS and Police Scotland. There were six casualties – four males and two females.

“We left the scene after ensuring it was safe at around 03.30pm.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
