Northern Ireland midfielder Ethan Galbraith
Leyton Orient have rejected a £1.5million bid from Charlton Athletic for Northern Ireland international Ethan Galbraith.
The midfielder starred for Orient in League One this season, playing in the east London club’s Play-Off Final defeat to Charlton. Now the 24 year-old could move to the club that tasted victory at Wembley last month.
However, Nathan Jones’ Charlton are just one of a handful of Championship clubs – including Sheffield United and Swansea City – keen to snap up the Manchester United youth product.
Orient boss Richie Wellens believes Galbraith has the ability to play in the English top flight.

.
“There is no doubt in my mind that Ethan Galbraith is a Premier League player,” said Wellens earlier this season.
Galbraith has won seven caps for Northern Ireland.
Another Northern Ireland star who may be on the move is goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell. His club Birmingham City are expected to sign England U21 international James Beadle on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, a move that would likely see Peacock-Farrell drop down to third-choice ahead of Birmingham’s return to the Championship.
Meanwhile, former Northern Ireland international Lee Hodson has signed for newly-promoted National League South club Totten. The 33 year-old was 24 caps for his country and was part of the squad at Euro 2016.
