A woman driver has been arrested after a car struck drinkers in a Wetherspoon’s pub garden.
The drama unfolded as punters were enjoying the hot weather in the garden of the Navigation Inn, Kings Norton, just before 4pm on Saturday (June 14).
A car is then said to have driven into the car park causing panic.

Several people tried to stop the driver but were struck, including one man who bravely stood on the bonnet but then was forced to run over the roof and jump off as it drove away.
Footage shared on social media shows the worrying scenes as the car exited the car park.

West Midlands Police were called and located a driver, a 47-year-old woman who has since been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, drink driving, driving without insurance, and criminal damage.
She remains in custody this afternoon while two people who were hit by the car were thankfully not seriously injured.
WMP said: “A woman has been arrested in connection with an incident in Kings Norton yesterday afternoon (Saturday).
“We were called to a pub in Wharf Road, Kings Norton, just before 4pm following reports of a car being driven dangerously.

“Upon further investigation, our officers found that members of the public were attempting to stop a woman who they believed to be drink driving, but she drove off.
“While driving away, two pedestrians were struck by the vehicle but thankfully weren’t seriously injured.
“We located the driver and arrested a 47-year-old woman on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, drink driving, driving without insurance, and criminal damage.
“She remains in custody in for questioning.”
