The USMNT began their 2025 Cold Cup campaign with a 5-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago on Sunday evening. Malik Tillman opened the scoring just 16 minutes into the game and added a second in the 41st minute to give the USMNT a 2-0 lead. The team wasn’t done scoring, as Patrick Agyemang would add a third goal before the end of the first half.

The US added two more goals late in the second half via goals by Brenden Aaronson and Haji Wright, with Max Arfsten assisting on both. The US dominated the ball with 70% possession and the defense was rarely tested, with Matt Freese needing to make just two saves on three total Trinidad & Tobago shots.
