A cyclist has been left fighting for their life after a collision in Clifton.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash, involving a car and cyclist, on Triangle West just before midday on Saturday, June 14.

The cyclist was taken to hospital, an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said.

They remain in hospital in a critical condition today (Monday, June 16).

Avon and Somerset Police are now appealing to witnesses of the crash to come forward.

A spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.54am on Saturday 14 June to reports of a serious collision involving a car and a cyclist on Triangle West in Clifton.

“Emergency services attended and the cyclist was taken to hospital where they remain in a life-threatening condition.

“Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any dashcam footage is asked to call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5225165903.”
