The Range has announced its first superstore in Co Tyrone will open in Cookstown next month.
The move follows the retailer’s acquisition of dozens of former Homebase sites after the DIY giant’s latest collapse into administration.
CDS (Superstores International), which trades as The Range, took just two former Homebase sites in Northern Ireland.
One of the sites in Bangor’s Balloo Park reopened as The Range on April 4.
The second site, located in Cookstown’s Orritor Road, is set to reopen in May.
The Co Tyrone store was included in the latest list of former Homebase stores reopening as The Range across the UK and Ireland next month.
The precise opening date has not yet been released.
It’s understood all employees have been retained from the Cookstown site, with The Range also launching a recruitment drive last month for additional staff.
The Range’s parent entity, CDS (Superstores International), has kept the failed retail brand alive with new garden centres by Homebase included in each of the DIY sites it has reopened.
CDS has already reopened former Homebase sites in Drogheda, Sligo, and Dublin’s Santry.
The next new Irish store is due to open in Portlaoise on Friday, with Cookstown following next month.
It marks The Range’s first store in Co Tyrone and brings the fast-growing discount retailer’s Northern Ireland portfolio to 11.
It comes nine years after Chris Dawson’s discount department chain opened its first store in Northern Ireland in 2016.
The Range has also been linked to a new store in Enniskillen.
Four former Homebase sites in Antrim, Craigavon or Belfast’s Galwally and Boucher Road, which were not included in the CDS deal, have already closed.

The south Belfast site next to Forestside has since been bought by Lidl for £7.5 million.
Two other sites in Omagh and Derry were acquired by Sainsbury’s last summer, three months before the DIY retailer’s collapse into administration.
They are currently being repurposed as new Sainsbury’s branded supermarkets, expected to open later this year.
