Sullivan & Cromwell has a short wish list for growth in London after making a splashy hire in its financial services regulatory practice this week, but the head of the Wall Street firm’s UK office says it’s not rushing to keep pace with a recruiting surge across the city.
Barney Reynolds is joining S&C from A&O Shearman, where he was global co-head of its financial services regulatory practice. Reynolds is just the third lateral partner addition at S&C’s roughly 80-lawyer London office since 2013.
