FIFA introduced a mini transfer window due to the inaugural summer Club World Cup, with teams across world football able to sign players from 1-10 June.
The window then slammed shut before reopening for teams in the Premier League on Monday, 16 June. Clubs in La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A and the Bundesliga will have to wait until 1 July before making additional signings, however, as their transfer window has not yet reopened.
That has not stopped non-English clubs from announcing new players, however, and on 16 June, Como confirmed the arrival of Martin Baturina for a club-record €22 million, while Bournemouth snapped up Adrien Truffert for €13.5m. In addition, Barcelona are now on the verge of completing the signing of Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia.
