Dutch writer and photographer, Sander Blom, explores the heart of Welsh folklore with his latest release, ‘Mythical Wales.’
This book combines 50 tales, including those of King Arthur, with stunning photography of the nation.
Mr Blom’s fascination with Wales began in 2015.
He said: “I instantly fell in love with the Welsh people, the beautiful landscapes, and above all, the fascinating stories, myths, and legends.”
He recollects visiting Beddgelert and learning about the story of Gelert the dog.
He added: “That’s where the idea started that I needed to do something with these tales.”
After several years, and numerous trips to Wales, he began to collect the myths, legends, and folk tales.
He said: “I really hope the Welsh people will love what I’ve done with their stories.”
