Glasgow Airport has introduced new security measures following the installation of upgraded scanning machines.
The city’s major travel hub announced the changes on Facebook, sharing a video titled ‘Numpty v Security‘, to help passengers understand what’s new.
Under the updated process, metal flasks and bottles must be empty. However, it confirmed travellers can now carry multiple liquids in containers of 100ml or less.
Electrical items and liquids can stay in bags during screening, speeding up the journey through security.
However, passengers will still be required to take their jackets and belts off.

“We’ve upgraded our security scanners to help make your journey smoother.
“With the new technology comes a few important changes.
