West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta reacted to a message from Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz after Leeds bid £32million for the striker.
The former Flamengo striker’s end to the season was curtailed by injury and the 24-year-old missed the last six games of the 2024/25 campaign.
Muniz became a pivotal part of Fulham’s side in the 2023/24 season, scoring nine Premier League goals after breaking into the Whites’ starting XI.
But the Brazilian striker took a step back last year, starting just eight games in the league as Marco Silva favoured Raul Jimenez as a lone striker.
With his playing time limited, and Muniz posting and deleting cryptic messages on social media, an exit from Fulham this summer seems on the cards.
However, the striker’s future remains a complicated one after the Cottagers rejected a £26m plus £6m in add-ons bid from Leeds [The Standard].

Still recuperating from an injury suffered near the end of the season, Muniz shared a video of himself working out on Instagram, captioned: “Brick by Brick”.
The post was liked by West Ham‘s midfielder Paqueta and Fulham teammate Jimenez, with the pair showing support for the Brazilian.
Fulham have no reason to accept £32m offer from Leeds
Football Insider Verdict
£32m seems like a huge chunk of change for a striker who started just eight Premier League games last season.
However, there is a little more to it than that. In today’s market, as a Premier League side, £32m does not buy you a starting striker, which both Fulham and Leeds view Muniz as in the future.
And given the Cottagers have failed to adequately replace Aleksandar Mitrovic since his departure in 2023, the last thing they will want to do is to give up a forward with the potential to fill the void left by the Serbian.
What’s more, Leeds are planning on spending big this summer in a bid to avoid a relegation battle altogether and leapfrog into the mid-table battle in the Premier League.
Giving up one of their strikers and strengthening a potential rival will be of little interest to Fulham this summer.
