A new cafe is opening in the heart of Liverpool ONE. Ori Caffe is no new concept; the brand already has successful venues across the country.
It can be found in the likes of Bluewater, Cambridge, Milton Keynes and Newcastle. However, this will be the company’s first visit to the city. The cafe will be on the ground floor of John Lewis, serving what the department store describes to be “authentic fresh flavours, a variety of artisan sandwiches, fresh pastries and delicious sweet treats”.
The landmark store already offers four floors of fashion, beauty, home giftware and technology. It is also the only premises of John Lewis’ in the country to host a Joe & The Juice.
John Lewis’s latest restaurant will have an “authentic Mediterranean-style menu” for breakfast, lunch and afternoon dining.

The opening date has yet to be confirmed, but posters have gone up around the store teasing its arrival. Inside, shoppers will find a corner by the entrance blocked off by solid white walls with the same posters dotted on them.
The signs also reveal that the cafe will be offering coffee, prosecco, and cocktails. This isn’t the only new addition to the area.
Just outside John Lewis, multi-billion-pound manufacturer Porsche is set to occupy the space previously used by the Upside Down House family attraction on Thomas Steers Way.

Porsche is launching a four-week pop-up designed for sports car enthusiasts and newcomers. Building on the success of the debut Porsche NOW pop-up at Battersea Power Station, the Liverpool ONE location promises to deliver a similar experience, providing visitors with the chance to explore Porsche’s history and take a glimpse into its future.
The stores are part of a global retail concept designed to bring the brand to centres around the world. The concept aims to engage visitors in a more intimate and interactive way than traditional showrooms.
The Liverpool ONE facility will feature similar designs, interactive displays and exclusive merchandise, with attendees having the opportunity to explore Porsche’s latest models, experience customisation options and take part in unique digital experiences.

Porsche NOW will be in Liverpool ONE from Tuesday, June 24 until Sunday, July 10. The luxury car company once owned a dealership in the city centre but left more than a decade ago due to relocation issues.
Preparations are underway to renovate the site which was previously occupied by the Upside Down House. On June 3, the house’s red exterior had been removed and parts of the white slated roof were also missing.
