Princess Beatrice, Duchess Sophie, and Zara Tindall made a dazzling appearance on the third day of Royal Ascot, turning heads with their stylish outfits as they arrived at the racecourse for the Royal procession.

King Charles and Queen Camilla led the procession in the first carriage for the third consecutive day. Trailing closely in the second carriage were Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, accompanied by Princess Anne and Sir Tim Laurence.

In the third carriage, Princess Beatrice was accompanied by her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Zara and Mike Tindall followed the Royal procession around the track and into the Royal suite in the fourth carriage.

Beatrice, Sophie, and Zara were the stars of the procession, each showcasing glamorous racing attire in line with the strict dress code. Duchess Sophie donned a white long-sleeved dress adorned with a playful green leaf detail, complemented by a white lace hat decorated with green flowers.

Zara Tindall looked stunning in a white shirt-style dress with black trimmings for a effortlessly chic look. She paired the beautiful dress with a matching black and white wide-brimmed hat and black earrings, reports the Mirror.

The Ascot racecourse in Berkshire is buzzing on its third day of the prestigious five-day meet, with attendees and royalty alike seeking respite from the blistering 30-degree heat.

The excitement of the third Royal procession was dampened by the absence of Princess Kate, who unexpectedly withdrew from the event yesterday, causing a stir as her name had been featured in the official Royal Ascot program.

Princess Kate’s sudden decision to not accompany Prince William in Wednesday’s carriage procession, announced by Kensington Palace less than two hours prior, has been attributed to her ongoing efforts to balance her Royal responsibilities with her recovery from cancer.

In a last-minute twist just before the second day’s procession, the Palace clarified that Princess Kate’s participation had not been confirmed with Royal Ascot organizers, stating that her inclusion in the official program and the announcement by racing officials were the result of a “communications error”.

A palace spokesperson explained: “We notified Ascot that Her Royal Highness would not be attending. Unfortunately an inaccurate version of the carriage list was issued in error after that notification. The correct list was then circulated.”

It is understood that the Prince and Princess of Wales will not make appearances at the remaining days of the festival.

An insider at Royal Ascot expressed: “Obviously it’s a great disappointment the Princess of Wales not being able to attend, but everyone is of course mindful of her schedule and we look forward to welcoming her next year.”
