Islanders who worked as cast and crew of a 1975 French historical drama filmed in Guernsey are being invited to share their memories to celebrate the 50th anniversary.
The Story of Adèle H. is about the daughter of Les Misérables author Victor Hugo and her obsessive and unrequited love for a British Army lieutenant.
The Victor Hugo Centre and The Victor Hugo in Guernsey Society said they planned to use recollections of the film to create a short film for the 50th anniversary in September.
Dinah Bott, chairwoman of the society, said: “The film won multiple other international awards and is thought to be the only Oscar nominated film ever shot in Guernsey.”
