The BKFC has a potential superstar on their hands.

BKFC 76 took off without a hitch in Fort Worth, Texas. The first fight of the night ended in multiple lacerations and was followed by back-to-back knockouts in the Squared Circle.

The main card features former UFC stars Jessica Eye and ex-heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski, with an interim lightweight title fight between Tony Soto and Ben Bonner in the headliner after Franco Tenaglia was stripped of the championship.

BKFC Texas also featured the arrival of Kenzie Morrison, the son of the late, great WBO Heavyweight Champion and ‘Rocky V’ star Tommy Morrison.

34-year-old Kenzie Morrison is building a legacy of his own in the ring.

Following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Morrison went an impressive 22-1-2 in professional boxing before he ultimately switched sports and signed with BKFC.

Morrison entered his bare-knuckle boxing debut against Alex ‘The Rhino’ Davis in a heavyweight bout.

It didn’t take long for Oklahoma’s Morrison to find a home for his punches, cracking Davis with shots in the first round.

Morrison scored an early knockdown of Davis by stinging with a jab and sending him down to the canvas.

Davis was unable to continue and Morrison let out a scream after the first-round TKO victory.

Kenzie Morrison says father Tommy Morrison would’ve been a BKFC fan

Kenzie’s father, Tommy Morrison, wasn’t just a boxer. Along with playing ‘Tommy Gunn’ in Rocky V across from Sylvester Stallone, Morrison fought one of his final bouts under a MMA ruleset.

Morrison was allowed to use punches and elbows in a fight that saw him win by first-round knockout in 2007.

On Thursday, Kenzie Morrison was asked what his father would’ve thought of him fighting in BKFC, with no gloves on.

“I think that he would have thought it was interesting and excited just like everyone else does,” Morrison said at the BKFC 76 press conference.
