Could Dave Bautista find himself in a sequel to a recently successful action movie?

The former WWE Superstar is no stranger to big roles in Hollywood. And it appears The Animal might be lined up for a role in an upcoming sequel for Amazon and MGM Studios.

According to Marc Malkin of Variety, Dave Bautista has been offered a role in the upcoming Roadhouse sequel.

MGM Studios’ reboot of Roadhouse streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video and starred Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor McGregor.

The original director, Doug Liman, will be replaced by Guy Ritchie after a very public falling out with the studio over Amazon’s decision not to give the reboot a theatrical run.

While the movie was a success for the streaming platform, the 2024 reboot only scored a 60% on Rotten Tomatoes with a 52% audience score.

Bautista’s reps did not respond to Variety when reached out to for comment on the report.
