Ross visited volunteers on Friday, June 20, to celebrate their work and hand out certificates as a gesture of thanks for their long service at a tea party.
A spokesperson for Thames Hospice said: “We enjoyed a fabulous Friday afternoon, celebrating the incredible work of our volunteers.
“We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming our amazing Patron Ross Kemp, for a sunny afternoon tea on the terrace at our beautiful Hospice.
“He was all smiles as he chatted with our wonderful volunteers and personally congratulated those volunteers celebrating long service milestones.
“We couldn’t do what we do without our hardworking volunteers – our Tea is a small gesture to say a very big thank you.”

The actor, author and documentarian regularly visits the hospice to see patients, staff and volunteers.
Rachael de Caux, Thames Hospice Chief Executive describes volunteers as “the beating heart” of the organisation.
Ross has previously commented on his connection to the hospice.
He said: “I am very proud to become an Ambassador for Thames Hospice.
“It’s a very special place with incredibly inspiring staff and volunteers. I am always moved by the positive atmosphere, compassionate care and love during my visits to the Hospice.
“Their work is fundamental in supporting local families through the most traumatic time and it is my pleasure to continue to raise awareness of this wonderful charity and get involved with their fundraising efforts.”
Thames Hospice works across East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire, supporting communities for more than 36 years, in partnership with local healthcare to provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care services to people aged 16 and over in their own homes and within the Hospice.
Their services are free of charge to all who need vital hospice care, but this is only made possible through charitable support.
The hospice receives a 26% financial contribution towards its operating costs by NHS England and is required to raise the rest of the £38,363 each day to fund services 365 days a year.
The organisation recently celebrated after fundraisers received recognition in The King’s Birthday Honours List 2025, Anita Dobson was awarded an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) for services to charitable fundraising and philanthropy.
Hospice Ambassador Sunita Arora, was also honoured for her services to the charitable sector and philanthropy.
