Emergency services stormed a busy Manchester junction after three people were injured in a smash.
Police, firefighters and paramedics all raced out to Wilmslow Road, near the junction with Palatine Road, in Withington at around 11.50pm on Saturday night (June 21).
The incident involved two vehicles, with three people taken to hospital by ambulance from the scene, according to Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS).
Firefighters rescued one person from one of the cars involved using specialist equipment.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed it attended the incident and said there were no fatalities following the crash.
The extent of injuries for those involved has not been confirmed, but it’s understood the incident is not currently being investigated as a serious collision.
A GMFRS spokesperson said: “At around before 11.50pm yesterday (Saturday, June 21) fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Wilmslow Road, Withington.

“Three fire engines from Withington, Gorton and Whitehill quickly attended the incident which involved two vehicles.
“Crews used specialist equipment to extricate one person from a vehicle. Three people were assessed at the scene and then conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service.
“Firefighters made the area safe before departing after approximately one hour at the scene.”
