A third man has been arrested following a ‘shooting’ in Salford.
Officers were called out to Littleton Road, in Kersal, shortly before 3pm on Friday (June 20) following reports a shot had been fired towards a group of men in the street.
Greater Manchester Police believes a group of men on Suron bikes travelled towards the men on the street ‘at speed’ before a firearm was discharged towards them.
They then left the area on their bikes, with officers later searching locations across Greater Manchester to find them.
A 24-year-old man, who was found in Cheadle, Stockport, and a 36-year-old man were both arrested in connection with the incident.
Armed police were also seen in attendance on Manchester Road, in Walkden, and near Agecroft Cemetery on Friday.

In an update issued this morning (Sunday), GMP says a 23-year-old man has also been arrested in connection with Friday’s incident.
He remains in custody for questioning this morning. The other two suspects have been bailed pending further enquiries.
GMP says officers, including special operations police, remain in attendance in the Littleton Road area today.
A force spokesperson said on Saturday: “We are continuing to follow up lines of enquiry to determine any others involved and the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“Additional officers remain in the area for reassurance and to investigate.”

The Manchester Evening News understands an arrest was made at Agecroft Cemetery after officers spotted a man following the suspects in a van, who was thought to be disqualified from driving.
He was arrested but later released with no further action following checks by police, it is understood.
