Bilbao stands out for its contemporary architecture, notably the iconic Guggenheim Museum. Meanwhile, Le Verdon, located near the wine region of Bordeaux, offers a tranquil atmosphere with its beautiful beaches, making it a perfect introduction to the famed French wine country.

The second itinerary takes the Mein Schiff 4 southward, offering a seven-night cruise that includes Lisbon, Cádiz, Gibraltar, and Tangier. Lisbon, Portugal’s capital, is known for its historic neighborhoods, beautiful views over the Tagus River, and stunning architecture. Cádiz, one of the oldest cities in Western Europe, boasts a fascinating history and stunning beaches. Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory, offers a mix of British and Mediterranean cultures and the famous Rock of Gibraltar. Finally, Tangier, a vibrant Moroccan city, offers a unique blend of European and African influences, with its bustling markets and historical sites.

These two itineraries will be available through late July, after which the Mein Schiff 4 will begin its repositioning voyage to Northern Europe. The repositioning journey will see the ship sail from Porto to Hamburg, stopping at various destinations in Spain and France, including Le Havre and La Coruña. Le Havre, a UNESCO World Heritage city, is known for its modernist architecture, while La Coruña, with its scenic coastline, will offer passengers the opportunity to explore its rich cultural heritage.

After its repositioning, the Mein Schiff 4 will set sail on a series of voyages to Scandinavia, providing passengers with the opportunity to explore Norway’s breathtaking fjords and scenic coastal villages. Known for its awe-inspiring landscapes, Norway offers a dramatic mix of towering cliffs, serene fjords, and abundant outdoor activities, from hiking and cycling to kayaking. The ship will visit multiple ports along Norway’s coast, allowing travelers to fully immerse themselves in the natural splendor and adventurous spirit of Scandinavia.

In the summer of 2025, alongside its Scandinavian voyages, the Mein Schiff 4 will also sail through both the Western and Eastern Mediterranean. These Mediterranean itineraries will transport passengers to some of Southern Europe’s most captivating destinations, including Italy, Greece, Turkey, and several Mediterranean islands. Known for its fascinating history, pristine beaches, and lively cities, the Mediterranean promises a remarkable cruising experience filled with cultural discovery, relaxation, and stunning coastal landscapes.

Once its European season concludes, the Mein Schiff 4 will embark on an exciting round-Africa voyage before making its way to the Middle East for the winter season. Starting in early November, the ship will depart from Dubai, offering a series of weeklong cruises to Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
