THE mum of gangland boss Steven ‘Bonzo’ Daniel had her home torched this morning as mobsters ramped up their war against the notorious crime clan.
Mystery hoods set fire to 63-year-old Annette’s house just before 1am.

It is the latest in a string of firebomb attacks across the country
A nearby bungalow belonging to her brother Norman, 72, was also set ablaze — with the chilling attacks in Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, filmed and posted on social media.
This afternoon under-pressure cops pleaded with the public to help end Scotland’s terrifying gangland war – as the chilling new footage showed the attacks striking at the heart of the Daniel crime clan’s family base.
The homes where Bonzo’s mum and uncle live were doused in flammable liquid and set alight in a co-ordinated blitz in the early hours of this morning.
Sickening footage shows a thug pouring accelerant at Annette’s smart home in Bishopbriggs before the property is engulfed in flames.
In the same clip it then cuts to the flame-filled bungalow belonging to Norman – who’s believed to be involved in the scrap trade.
The victims are the siblings of late crime boss Jamie Daniel.
A source said: “This mob are now directly attacking senior Daniel family members.
“Bonzo actually used to live in the house where his mum now stays so it’s very much the wider family’s base.
“The police will need to get on top of this soon or it’s going to get even worse.”
In the new video showing the homes in Bishopbriggs being ignited shortly after midnight on Monday, a message said: “Exterminate the Daniel virus.”
Earlier this morning cops stood guard outside Annette’s home hours after thugs filmed themselves sparking the huge fire.
More homes firebombed and hoods issue chilling threat as gang war continues
The front of the house in John Marshall Drive was badly damaged in a calculated attack that mirrors a growing number of late night incidents at properties linked to the Daniel family and Edinburgh mob boss Mark Richardson, 37.
A few minutes away elderly Norman’s home in Colston Drive was left in a melted mess with guttering and parts of the singed roof hanging over the front door.
Cops probing the ongoing carnage that’s erupted over the past six weeks in Edinburgh and Glasgow said a dedicated team of officers was doing everything to snare the maniacs involved – but needed help from the public.
Detective Chief Superintendent Dave Ferry, Specialist Crime Division, said: “We rely on members of the public coming forward and giving us information.
“The key to identifying these individuals is out there in the public.
“I’d ask the public to approach the police and give us information.
“They can do it anonymously through Crimestoppers or 101.
“Sometimes it’s just that one piece of information that brings the case forward.

“Please do have the confidence to come forward and trust us to do our jobs.”
The top cop was speaking this afternoon at the Gartcosh Crime Campus where specialist teams are gathering evidence into the ongoing turf war between warring factions.
The latest fire attacks came just 48 hours after a 72-year-old woman and a 12-year-old lad were assaulted in a property in Milton, Glasgow.
They remained in hospital last night with “significant injuries” after Saturday’s attack just after midnight.
The suspects were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, with cops eager to speak to anyone who saw a dark large family-style or SUV-type car in the area that night.
Officers would urge anyone with information on this car, or anyone with dash-cam, doorbell footage or personal footage, to review it and get in touch.
It’s understood officers were last night investigating a motor found abandoned in the city’s Finlas Street to see if it is linked.
The despicable raid is one in a wave of firebombings, shootings and assaults by menacing mobsters driven by a hatred of the notorious Glasgow crime clan formerly headed up by late kingpin Jamie Daniel.
It’s claimed the feud was sparked by a bitter fall-out over a £500,000 drug deal between Richardson cronies and Dubai-based mobsters.
The fiends initially targeted properties in Edinburgh before the turf war spread west to Glasgow, with associates of the Daniel clan in the firing line.
Detective Chief Superintendent Ferry added: “While we believe these to be targeted attacks, I want to make it clear this violence will not be tolerated and we are following a number of lines of enquiry.
“To attack an elderly lady and a child is simply cowardly – no one should be made to feel unsafe in their own home.
“We are aware that videos of some of these fires have been posted online.
“The publicising and glamorising these despicable and dangerous acts is abhorrent.
“I would appeal for anyone who knows who is responsible to come forward, even anonymously and bring this behaviour to an end.
“We are using every resource at our disposal to trace those responsible for this despicable act as quickly as possible.
“We understand these incidents will be concerning for the local community but please be assured we will bring those involved to justice.”

In 2022, the Daniel home in John Marshall Drive was rammed by a car and set alight. Annette was home alone at the time and it’s understood rivals were targeting Steven ‘Bonzo’ Daniel’.
Bonzo, 45, was left disfigured after a brutal murder bid by the rival Lyons crew in 2017.
