Leeds United are the latest club to express an interest in signing Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz in the summer transfer window.
That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that Juventus are planning to cash in on the 27-year-old.
As a result, the Brazil international’s agent has been offering him to a number of Premier League clubs and has been in frequent talks about his future.
Luiz left Aston Villa to join Juventus less than a year ago but is already eyeing a return to England after a disappointing season in Turin.
Football Insider revealed in January that Man City were considering signing Luiz on loan as a stop-gap option with Rodri ruled out through injury.
The Italian giants had offered the midfielder to the former Premier League champions, but after failing to reach an agreement, they are set to continue to push him out.

Leeds United to rival Nottingham Forest for Douglas Luiz deal
Brown told Football Insider on 27 March that Nottingham Forest scouts have been watching Luiz as he has emerged on their long list of targets at the City Ground.
The former scout, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, has insisted the player’s agent is trying hard to agree a move back to the Premier League.
“Juventus want to get rid of Douglas Luiz,” he told Football Insider.
“He hasn’t made an impact there since leaving Villa, and from what I hear his agent has been speaking to a load of Premier League clubs to find him a move.
“Luiz is a very good passer of the ball, he’s a talented player.
“My issue has always been that if the game is against you, he goes missing.
“It’s something I flagged while I was at Aston Villa, if the run of the game starts going against you, he’s always second to everything and you can bypass him in midfield.
“So Leeds may well be interested after speaking to his agent, but they have to know what they’re getting.
“If they want somebody to get on the ball and help them progress, he can do that.
“If they want somebody who’s combative and willing to battle in the middle, they’ll look elsewhere.
“Their scouts will have done their due diligence on him, they’ll know what he can and can’t do, and then it’s up to them to make a decision.”

Alongside their interest in Luiz, Leeds are considering signing another Brazilian player this summer in the form of Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz.
Brown told Football Insider on 25 June that Leeds are preparing another offer for Muniz after their first bid was turned down by Marco Silva’s side.
The 24-year-old forward has emerged among the top targets at Elland Road as they aim to strengthen their squad to stay in the Premier League.
However, Football Insider revealed on 23 June that Fulham are confident of pricing Leeds out of a move for Muniz as they are determined to keep their star man.
