Tottenham are set to complete a raid on Leeds United for one of the Yorkshire club’s treasured emerging assets in a seven-figure deal.
Spurs are of course preparing for live under a new manager in Thomas Frank, following the sacking of Ange Postecoglou at the end of last season.
The 51-year-old will be keen to strengthen his new squad at senior level, but faces a fight to sign Bryan Mbeumo and Yoana Wissa from his former club Brentford.
Even so, it looks as though there is set to be more positive progress for Tottenham when it comes to their recruitment drive at youth level.

According to a new update from The Athletic, Spurs are set to complete the signing of 16-year-old striker Oliver Boast from Leeds.
The teenager has risen rapidly through the youth ranks with the Whites, and scored nine goals in 18 league games for the club’s Under-18s side this season.

He has also already made his debut for the Yorkshire outfit at Under-21s level, and is considered to be one of their “prized” academy assets.
However, Boast is just a few months younger than Harry Gray who is also being tipped for big things at Leeds and who recently made his first-team debut for the Elland Road side.
But given he is behind Gray in the pecking order, Boast has apparently decided to move to Tottenham rather than risk seeing his progression stunted by remaining in Yorkshire where others are ahead of him.
That has apparently seen Leeds negotiate a fee with Spurs for the 16-year-old, rather than go to a tribunal.
As a result, the Yorkshire outfit are now expected to receive a seven-figure fee for the young striker after coming to an agreement with their fellow Premier League side.

Football Insider Verdict
To lose Boast at this stage of his career will be massivly disappointing for those at Elland Road, since they have not even had the chance to benefit from his ability at senior level.
Had he stayed and that been the case, his value could have risen considerably and allowed Leeds to earn even more from his sale in the future.
They will therefore feel they have missed out on the chance for a bigger windfall, and being someone who has come through the academy, a first-team emergence would have been popular with fans too.
Of course, Tottenham signed Archie Gray from Leeds last summer, so losing another one of their talents to Spurs will be a disappointment too.
Boast though, has to do what he feels is best for his own career, and so it makes sense he is going where he feels he can make a breakthrough at senior level.
Given Tottenham will be targeting more trophies and European football in the years to come, that could pay off for the young striker.
