Two drug dealing suspects from Birmingham have been charged after a stop and search in Staffordshire led to searches in the Second City.
Officers from Staffordshire Police’s major and organised crime proactive teams stopped a man in Espley’s Yard in Stafford town centre on Monday (June 23).
He was searched and a mobile phone was recovered.

A home was then searched in the area and cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin were discovered.
That led to the search of two properties in Birmingham and led to the arrest of two men from the city.
Adam Bailey, 42, from Witton Road in Aston, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
While Reayarn Douglass, 22, from Gainford Road in Kingstanding, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin, and assault by beating of an emergency worker.
Both men have now appeared at court with Bailey remanded in custody and Douglass released on conditional bail.

A spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police said: “Two men have been charged with drug offences after we found crack cocaine, cocaine and heroin in Stafford.
“It comes after officers from our major and organised crime proactive teams found a mobile phone when they stopped and searched a man in Espley’s Yard, Stafford, on Monday (23 June).
“When they searched a home in the area they found cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin. Two properties in Birmingham were also searched.
“Both men appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Tuesday (24 June).
“Bailey was remanded in custody to appear at Stafford Crown Court on 25 July, whilst Douglass was released on conditional bail to a hearing at the same court on 28 July.”
