Tyson Fury’s nephew has destroyed a spicy curry challenge, nailing the dish in one minute besides some last gasp chewing, before admitting ‘it’s burning me insides out’Johnboy Fury smashed the challenge

Tyson Fury might no longer be the most decorated athlete in his family.

That’s because the heavyweight boxing legend’s achievements and accolades might just pale in comparison to those of his nephew who smashed through a hot curry challenge to the amazement of the waiters.

“I’ll smash this hot curry challenge in two seconds, easy,” Johnboy Fury – son of Tyson’s brother Shane Fury – declared ahead of the daunting task, which was caught on camera. “I don’t mind spice, I’m going to push it down, even though I don’t like it. I’ll smash it.”

Johnboy was then told if he ate it all in under one minute he would take home a £100 cash prize – as the time quickly elapsed over his two seconds prediction.

But he started to make light work of the curry before the heat started to catch up with him and he began to pant in between each spicy mouthful – which he insisted was “alright”.

Amazingly, he was able to hover up the curry with five seconds to spare: “Smashed it! What did I say!

“It wasn’t even that spicy, actually its burnt me liver out, but respect to anybody else that can do it quicker than me. Smashed it!”

Johnboy was then handed his £100 as he joked he wouldn’t mind doing it under 30 seconds next time.

The camera then cut back to Johnboy, some time later. He gasped: “Smashed it, well I didn’t smash it its burnt my insides out. The insides have been burnt, I thought it would be easier but I’ve done it in the end.

“I’ll be regretting it later, but we’ll see what happens now!”

Like his famous uncle the ‘Gypsy King’, Johnboy is also a boxer – and he told the cameras in the challenge that he’s currently training for a ring debut.
