Hibs are set to win their fight to keep Rocky Bushiri at Easter Road.
The DR Congo international is on the verge of signing a new long-term deal with David Gray’s side.
The talented defender is out of contract but is ready to commit to Hibs.
The final parts of the deal are now being finalised.
Bushiri has offers on the table from England and Europe but is set to extend his capital stay.
The 25-year-old was one of the stars for Hibs, as they finished third last season and qualified for Europe.
Talks have been ongoing to keep Bushiri.
It has been a turnaround by the Norwich City defender.
He was initially on the bench under Gray at the start of the season but he came in and since his stoppage time leveller against Aberdeen, Hibs and the player haven’t looked back.
Official confirmation of Bushiri’s new deal should be confirmed in the coming days.
Hibs are also set to sign Josh Mulligan from Dundee and remain in talks with Sunderland over Nectarios Triantis.
