Prince William and Kate Middleton named Britain’s most influential couple

Prince William and Princess Kate have officially been crowned Britain’s most powerful couple.

Tatler magazine has named the Prince and Princess of Wales the most socially powerful people in Britain, topping its 2025 Social Power Index.

According to the society magazine via GB News, the couple aren’t just future monarchs. They’re “dream dinner guests” and “the most influential in the land.”

Tatler specifically praised Princess Catherine for showing “grace and grit” during her cancer battle, adding, “There’s much to admire about the royal couple, especially the grace and grit displayed by Catherine after her cancer diagnosis.”

“They will have a kingdom to run in due course,” the magazine stated, “which makes them the No.1 couple to have at your table.”

Tatler also noted the couple’s shared love for tennis and nature, as well as Prince William’s support for Aston Villa.

Others in the top five included Maro Itoje and wife Mimi in second, followed by Princess Dora Loewenstein and the Hornbys.

The royal couple edged out high-profile names like Sir David Attenborough and David and Victoria Beckham, who placed sixth and fifth, respectively.

This isn’t the only list the Waleses are dominating. Last month, they were also named among TIME100’s Most Influential People in Philanthropy, with the outlet praising their “modern royal agenda” and work aligning social change with business strategy.
