The new regional children’s hospital project has faced protracted delays
Health officials were concerned a contractor behind Belfast’s crisis-hit Maternity Hospital was going to “walk away” from the £671m Children’s Hospital project and insisted on getting more money, internal documents reveal.
Information from last December, which the department intended to conceal, but seen by the Belfast Telegraph, shows that the contractor was unhappy with the way matters were handled regarding the Maternity Hospital.
