Wrexham must hit back on Friday afternoon as relegation-threatened Bristol Rovers make the trip to the STōK Cae Ras.
There are now just four games to go as the League One season heads towards its climax.
Wrexham still hold second place in the League One table but now lead Wycombe Wanderers by just one point.
Wrexham drew 0-0 with Wigan Athletic on Saturday, turning in a frustrating performance which was compounded by Wycombe’s late win against Stevenage.
Phil Parkinson believes Wrexham are in a great position, and he would have taken being a point clear in second place with four games to play.
Wrexham failed to register a shot on target against Wigan, though, and must hit back with a better display against Bristol Rovers.

The Pirates have now lost six League One games in a row and have now dropped into the relegation zone.
Bristol Rovers sacked Matt Taylor earlier this season, but the bold decision to appoint Inigo Calderon in his place could backfire with relegation.
Wrexham must come out strong on Friday and seize the opportunity to get back to winning ways against a struggling side.
Calderon has looked ahead to Friday’s clash but has criticised his team’s performances away from home.
Speaking on Bristol Rovers’ official website, Calderon suggested that his players ‘haven’t been that good’ on the road.
Calderon noted that Bristol Rovers were ‘a bit better’ against Bolton Wanderers, but he knows the magnitude of the situation he faces.
The Spaniard wants to just focus game by game rather than as a four-game chunk, something Parkinson will be preaching to his Wrexham players too.
“We have Wrexham away, and we know our performances away haven’t been that good,” said Calderon.
“It’s true that the last one against Bolton was a bit better. It’s not four games. It’s one game. The next one is the most important one. It’s so clear for me,” he added.
Inigo Calderon has blasted his Bristol Rovers team
Calderon has also suggested that his Bristol Rovers squad is more befitting of being in League Two than League One, based on recent performances.
The Bristol Rovers boss told BBC Sport that it’s ‘quite obvious’ that Bristol Rovers just aren’t good enough, but hopes that his honest stance will spark a real response.
“I think everybody realises now, I don’t know if they knew before, but it’s quite obvious now at this moment we are a League Two team, a League Two club,” said Calderon.
“It was good to have this chat to say everything to the face of everyone, to be a man in front of everyone, because we have to be strong enough to want to go out from this situation,” he added.
Those are pretty bold comments from Calderon, and whilst he wants to spark a reaction, it could have the opposite effect.
Wrexham will look to make sure that this is another torrid away trip for Bristol Rovers and move another step closer to the Championship whilst potentially pushing the Pirates closer to League Two.
