No trams are running on a section of the Metrolink’s Manchester Airport line tonight.
There are currently no services between St Werburgh’s Road in Chorlton and Sale Water Park in Trafford.
The Bee Network website said this is due to a ‘road traffic accident.’
They have not specified exactly where the crash has occurred.
Emergency services are reportedly at the scene.
It is not yet clear if anyone has been injured.
Tickets and passes are being accepted on the number 11, 18, 43, 101, 103 and 368 buses.
“Metrolink apologies for any inconvenience” they said.
Elsewhere on the network, trams are currently not running through the Piccadilly Gardens stop due to engineering work which is due to finish on Sunday, August 10.
