The Amazfit Balance 2 smartwatch is now officially available worldwide. This wearable was released in China in May and could be pre-ordered via Amazon in some European countries earlier in June.
Now, the Amazfit Balance 2 smartwatch can be purchased in countries like the US, the UK and Spain for $299.99/£299.90/€299.90. It is available at the brand’s online store or at Amazon. Plus, at the Amazfit store in the US, customers can get a 20% discount on the recently released Helio Strap when bundled with the smartwatch; you can purchase both for $379.99. A similar bundle deal is also available for a Nylon Strap and a HYROX-branded Silicone Sports Strap.
Amazfit’s new Balance 2 smartwatch allows users to track over 170 activities, including strength training, golf and scuba diving. The watch is water resistant to 10 ATM, and there is an official HYROX mode. Plus, users can download free maps, including a range of ski resorts and golf courses. There is tracking of health metrics like heart rate, blood oxygen level and sleep quality, with all insights viewable in the Zepp smartphone app. Here, users can also track their food intake.
Other features include the Zepp Flow voice assistant, an on-watch keyboard for Android message replies, and Bluetooth calling. Plus, in Europe, you can use the watch to make contactless payments via Zepp Pay. According to Amazfit, the Balance 2 will run for 21 days with typical use. The wearable has a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with up to 2,000 nits brightness, protected by sapphire glass. It comes with black leather and Lava (red/orange) silicone straps, measures 47.4 x 47.4 x 12.3 mm (~1.9 x 1.9 x 0.5 inches) and weighs 43 g (~1.5 oz) without a band. At the time of writing, there is still no sign of the rumored Amazfit Balance 2 XT smartwatch.
