Liverpool have now made six summer signings already after this week confirming a £40m deal with AFC Bournemouth for Milos Kerkez. The Reds completed the club-record signing of Florian Wirtz last week, having already brought in Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Pecsi earlier in the window.

Having also agreed a £29m deal with Valencia last year for goalkeeper Giorgi Marmardashvili, the Georgia international will complete his move to Anfield this summer. And another goalkeeper, Freddie Woodman, will join the Reds when he leaves Preston North End at the expiry of his contract.

Kerkez is the latest big name arrival at Anfield, with the Hungary international undergoing a medical with the Reds on Monday before his transfer was made official on Thursday..

The Reds are expected to still be in active in their efforts to strengthen Arne Slot’s squad following the arrival of Kerkez. They are likely to pursue a new centre-forward, with Darwin Nunez tipped to move on, while Marc Guehi is a confirmed player of interest as they weigh up their centre-back options.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Caoimhin Kelleher have already completed exits away from Anfield, departing for Real Madrid and Brentford, while Vitezslav Jaros has signed for Ajax on loan. Meanwhile, seven youngsters were confirmed to be leaving at the end of their contracts when the club confirmed its retained list.

But further players are expected to make Reds exits this summer. Liverpool have agreed a deal worth £35m for Jarell Quansah to join Bayer Leverkusen, while Nat Phillips moved to West Brom.

With the transfer window now open until 11pm on Monday 1 September, there will still be plenty more twists and turns for the Reds over the summer months as sporting director Richard Hughes continues to work hard behind the scenes.

And with a number of fresh deals now close to completion, the ECHO takes a closer look at all the transfers already completed by Liverpool so far this summer…
