The best and worst primary schools by progress scores in Bristol have been revealed.
In May, we shared the data for Bristol’s secondary schools, with the Government data showing the city currently has five secondary schools being rated as “well above average” for its Progress 8 scores.
And we have now looked at the data for Bristol’s primary schools.
Across the city, 56 per cent of pupils met the expected standard at Key Stage 2 in 2024 – which means they achieve a scaled score of 100 or more in their reading and maths tests, and their teacher assesses them as ‘working at the expected standard’ or better in writing.
The average reading score across Bristol is 105, while the average score in maths is 104.
