A naked man caused chaos on a busy roundabout in Rochdale on Sunday (June 29), by ‘attacking cars’ during a rampage.
Police were called to reports of a man, in the nude, that had been approaching vehicles at random close to the Middleton Archer pub.
A post shared on social media said the man was ‘running over the roundabout’ and ‘going for any car or person near him’.

“Tried to attack my car as I picked my daughter up from the gym,” one post read. “It was awful!”
Another post read: “It was awful. I was two cars behind when he was attacking the guy in car. My girls were also in car, think they’re traumatised bless them.”
And woman also claimed the man had ‘attacked’ their car while her daughter and other family members were inside before climbing into the driver’s seat in a public post on social media.
Greater Manchester Police received a number of calls and raced to the incident, where a man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers arrested a man in Middleton town centre on suspicion of assault and criminal damage. He remains in police custody.”
