Xiaomi is getting ready to hold a big launch event in China on June 26, and at this event, the company will be unveiling new flagship tablets and phones. There will be brand-new accessories as well, including the Smart Band 10 and the 41 mm Watch S4. The former has already starred in an official teaser, and now, the company has showcased the latter.
As the company highlights, the smaller Watch S4 will sport a slightly different design than its larger sibling. Besides being more compact in size, it appears to have a slimmer chassis, and the “Quicksand Gold” version will feature a six-point lab-grown diamond inlaid on the crown.
It also seems that the “Quicksand Gold” version will come with an exclusive watch face, matching the overall aesthetics of the smartwatch. Xiaomi hasn’t shared any specs of the 41 mm Watch S4, but it’s expected to have a smaller display and battery than the larger model (available on Amazon).
To fill you in, the regular Watch S4 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. It’s equipped with a 486 mAh battery and has a rated runtime of up to 15 days.
Regarding the other specs, it’s unclear whether the 41 mm Watch S4 will be powered by the new Xring T1 SoC. If it does, like the 15th Anniversary Edition of the smartwatch, the upcoming wearable could have a live feed-enabled remote camera function.
