Ebanie Bridges celebrated with fans after the boxing beauty’s Instagram account was reinstated following a controversial ban that left her followers fuming.

The former IBF Bantamweight Women’s champion – known as the “world’s sexiest boxer” thanks to her daring weigh-in outfits and sizzling hot social media uploads – was baffled when her Instagram page was taken down by Meta killjoys just over a week ago, much to the dismay of her 821,000-strong audience.

In a defiant post on rival platform X, the Blonde Bomber blasted: “This is who I am. Champion. Creator. Fighter. My Instagram account (@ebanie_bridges) was disabled unfairly, no warning, no explanation. @instagram @Meta, let’s fix this. To my loyal Fans: tag them and use #BringBackEbanie to help. I’m not done yet.”

Outraged supporters shared the hashtag after Instagram took exception to one of her racy snaps that showed the Australian fighter in leather trousers, a denim jacket and little else, with the caption: “What I have just dropped on my exclusive page isn’t staying up forever… But it’s staying in VIP for now. $6 if you’re quick, you know where to find the link.”

But now Meta have reversed the decision, prompting a delighted Bridges to share a jubilant video, alongside a post captioned: “I’m back. Massive thank you to @navupluger and @nandu._.xd for getting my page back you’re AMAZING. If anyone loses their account or knows anyone who’s lost theirs, hit these guys up – very efficient.”

The 38-year-old said: “Hey guys you might have noticed I’ve been missing for a bit over a week… yay. No it wasn’t because I was having a social media break and cleansing from social media. No. Instagram decided to take down my page.

“[It] shocked me, obviously this is my income, you know, it’s everything I do on here, and I’ve worked really, really hard on building up my Instagram and my following, and you know talking to all my fans, so I was devastated.

“Thankfully, through recommendations I found these guys and they did everything that they could to get me up, back and running again.

“They were absolutely amazing, honestly so supportive and honestly the absolute best. They said they were going to do it and they did it and I’m so forever grateful. So thank you so much guys.

“If you know anyone that has had their Instagram shut down – mine was shut down permanently. I couldn’t make another appeal, I couldn’t do anything, so the only option was to find someone else to help and these guys were amazing.

“So big love guys. You are amazing and thank you. I ain’t going nowhere b*****.”

Fans were ecstatic to see Bridges on Instagram once again, with one commenting: “Yassss, she’s back!” Another supporter said: “That’s awesome! You are amazing Ebs.” And a third replied: “Whaat? IG has a problem with awesomeness? Glad you’re back!”

And the good news for Bridges’ loyal fans doesn’t stop there.

Daily Star Sport understands she is planning to make a ring return later this year, after taking time off to welcome a baby boy, Ezerra, with fellow boxing superstar Kell Brook, 39.

Bridges, who held the IBF world title from March 2022 until December 2023, when she lost it to Miyo Yoshida, is back in training just months after giving birth and has been sparring with ex-Commonwealth flyweight champion Nicola Hopewell.

Nottinghamshire fighter Hopewell is gearing up to face the IBO World Flyweight Champion, London-based French star Marie Connan, at Skate Central in Sheffield on July 19.

And she’s been tuning up for the clash with the help of Bridges, who is eyeing her own journey back to the top of the sport.
