Weeks after reports of his exit shook the entertainment world, veteran actor Paresh Rawal has publicly confirmed he is back on board for the anticipated Hera Pheri 3, alongside Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. Speaking on The Himanshu Mehta Show, Rawal dismissed rumours of trouble, emphasising that all creative differences have been addressed, and the film is moving forward as planned.
Asked directly about the uproar, Paresh said, “Nahi, controversy kuchh nahi hai. Kya hota hai ki jab cheez itni logon ko bhaati hai, tab we have to be extra careful. It is our responsibility for the audience… But ye kuchh hua nahi hai. It is all resolved now.” He stressed the importance of respecting fans’ expectations and delivering quality work.
Addressing concerns over scheduling and roles, he added: “Pehle bhi aane hi wali thi. Lekin hota kya hai ki thoda ek dusre ko fine tune karna padta hai… all of them are creative people. Like Priyadarshan, Akshay, Sunil—they have been my friends for many, many years.” Rawal underlined that minor adjustments between long-time collaborators are natural in a film’s evolution.
