It has been a hot and humid weekend across Greater Manchester, and temperatures show no sign of dropping as we enter a new week.
Forecasters say the mercury could reach nearly 30C in our region on Monday (June 30), as they predict a ‘heatwave’ across the country.
It is set to be one of the hottest days in June on record, with highs of 34C in London serving tennis fans a sweltering start to Wimbledon, according to the Met Office.
And while temperatures won’t reach quite that peak further north, we can still expect a ‘very warm’ and ‘humid’ day with plenty of sunshine.
