Big Brother legend Glyn Wise has announced that he is officially begun his new career.
The runner-up of Big Brother 6 in 2007 has dabbled in presenting, politics and teaching since leaving the house, but has spent the last few years training to become an ordained minister for the Church of Wales.
On his Instagram, he shared a photo of himself wearing the collar and announced that yesterday was his first day on the job as Reverend Glyn.
“This is Rev Glyn – I’m coming to get you!” he wrote in the caption.
“Day 1 as an official Rev! Hard work, praying & studying has paid off. ‘With God all things are possible’, Math 19: 26.
“Looking forward to follow in the footsteps of the disciples in the book of Acts, spreading the good word across the nations!”

His caption continued in Welsh, as he thanked people for their support and paraphrasing Paul’s Epistle to the Philippians, claiming that he is not perfect but will focus his energy on what is in front of him, rather than behind.
His comments were full of congratulations and support, while one fan made the pun, “Forgive me father for I have Glynned”.
Another referenced the classic “I’m cooking an egg for the very time” moment, writing: “Being a Rev for the very first time.”

The most recent season of Celebrity Big Brother wrapped a few months ago, with Coronation Street‘s Jack P Shepherd crowned the winner.
The season saw Mickey Rourke removed from the house after a formal warning, while JoJo Siwa dumped her partner at the afterparty and has since entered into a relationship with fellow housemate Chris Hughes.
The civilian season will air later this year, with applications open now.
Big Brother episodes can currently be streamed on ITVX.
