West Midlands Fire Service received numerous calls reporting the incident in Erdington, near the M6 in Birmingham, just before 5pm today (Monday, June 30).
The premises, on Tyburn Road, belongs to an office furniture company.

As of 6:30pm, around 12 fire engines and 60 firefighters were involved in the operation to bring the fire under control.
Also on the scene are police officers, who are assisting with a number of local road closures.
Motorists are advised to find alternative routes where possible while local residents are asked to keep doors and windows shut as a precaution.
