Final casting has been announced for 50 First Dates The Musical, coming to The Other Palace Theatre in London this autumn.
Directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Hercules), 50 First Dates will have its world premiere at The Other Palace from 14 September to 16 November 2025.
This new musical is an adaptation of the hit 2004 film starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.

They will be joined by Georgia Arron (Mean Girls) as Sharon, Aizaac Aruna (Stardust) as Miles/Ensemble, Zoë Ann Bown (The Sound Of Music) as Miriam, Emily Olive Boyd (Les Misérables) as Fran, John Marquez (The Birthday Party) as Marlin Whitmore, Natasha O’Brien (Mamma Mia!) as Delilah, Aiesha Naomi Pease (Wicked) as Ukulele Sue, David Pendlebury (The Phantom Of The Opera) as Sid, Martha Pothen (The Frogs) as Cora, Ricky Rojas (Moulin Rouge!) as Marco, Chad Saint Louis (Cry-Baby) as Sandy, and Charlie Toland (Sin The Musical) as Doug Whitmore.

The new musical is written by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen, the team behind the Off-Broadway comedy The Other Josh Cohen, based on George Wing’s screenplay for the movie.
The 50 First Dates story is set against the sunny backdrop of Hawaii, and follows Henry, a charming marine vet, as he falls for Lucy. But there’s a catch — Lucy suffers from short-term memory loss. Every day, she wakes up with no memory of the previous day!
Determined to win her over, Henry comes up with new ways to make Lucy fall for him again and again. The result is a heartwarming story filled with catchy songs, comedy, and a message about love and second chances.
The wider creative team features set and costume design by Fly Davis (Caroline Or Change), lighting design by Aideen Malone (Fiddler on the Roof), video design by George Reeve (Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends), sound design by Adam Fisher (Sunset Boulevard), hair and makeup design by Cynthia De La Rosa (Barcelona), orchestrations and arrangements by Matthew Jackson (Burlesque), the musical supervision and musical direction is by Richard Beadle (Hamilton), and the casting director is Natalie Gallacher for Natalie Gallacher and Pippa Ailion Casting.
Produced by ATG Productions, Bad Robot Live and Gavin Kalin Productions, 50 First Dates The Musical is playing at The Other Palace Theatre from 14 September 2025 to 16 November 2025.
