A lot of the discussion surrounding the ongoing feud between King Charles and his youngest son, Prince Harry, is about what happens next. The King is ill, and that means succession plans are underway, but the question is bigger than that. Is there any hope of reconciliation? Will Harry and Meghan Markle be involved in his funeral? And what will King Charles leave Harry as an inheritance?

Recent reports from EDATV indicate the King is being urged to revise his will, and this revision could affect Prince Harry considerably. The main driver behind this is reportedly Queen Camilla, who is looking to reward those within the royal orbit who have remained loyal and steadfast and minimize Harry’s inheritance.

The change, if it happens, is thought to heavily benefit Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children. That part isn’t surprising, considering William is the heir to the throne, and Princess George is the heir after him. However, reports indicate Camilla’s son Tom Parker Bowles, Charles’s stepson and also his godson, is also reportedly being considered for a notable share. This is thought to be a sign of how much the King is taking the Queen’s opinion under advisement.

Some observers point to this potential reshuffling as a symbol of the shift of the power dynamics within the royal family, as well. For a long time, reports indicated the king had been unwilling to deepen the rift between him and Prince Harry, but a move such as this one would surely cause their ongoing feud to escalate.

This, ironically, comes amid conflicting reports on what the feud between King Charles, Prince Harry, and Prince William could look like in the future. Fox News recently reported that Prince William and Prince Harry might not cross paths again until King Charles dies. “The funeral of Charles would be the first time that courtiers would imagine [them reuniting],” a source said. “I can’t imagine William would invite Harry to his coronation.”

But the Telegraph recently reported that the King has factored not only Prince Harry but Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, into the heart of his funeral plans. According to the outlet, Prince Harry is expected to walk side by side with his brother at the forefront of the processions through the streets of London.

And that’s not all, as the outlet also reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will both be invited to take part in the family vigil during the lying-in-state at Westminster Hall and play a prominent role alongside the most senior royals during the funeral service, alongside their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

There had also been recent reports that King Charles and Prince Harry could possibly reunite at the 2027 Invictus Games, which are set to take place in the UK, with invitations reportedly being sent.

For now, there’s no confirmation of a possible meeting or of a change in King Charles’ will. So we will have to wait and see how things develop and what relationships are affected.
