The Remedi Health team was highly commended in the Pharmacy Team of the Year category at the 12th annual Recognition of Excellence Awards.
The awards, organised by pharmacy trade magazine Training Matters, celebrate the achievements of key healthcare workers in the community pharmacy sector.
Judges praised the Remedi Health team for their “patient-focused commitment to care” and described them as “exceptional in every way”.

They recognised the team’s commitment to identifying patient needs, expanding their scope of practice, and delivering innovative services built around the patient.
The judges’ comments read: “Modern healthcare on the high street has not only been reimagined but also delivered through the collective teamwork, passion for excellence, and dedication of the pharmacy team.
“The Remedi team are totally committed to identifying patient need, expanding their scope of practice, and delivering innovative services built around the patient.

“The commitment to learning and development is second to none and they constantly challenge themselves to deliver more.
“This is a unique and innovative business model and they are truly pioneering in their approach to service delivery.”

The Recognition of Excellence Awards is the only national awards programme exclusively for community pharmacy support staff.
It focuses on rewarding hard-working and dedicated individuals who make a difference to the mental and physical health and well-being of their customers, patients, pharmacies, and communities.
The awards highlight the range of roles and responsibilities within community pharmacy, with categories including the Health Equality Award, Outstanding Contribution Award, Product Adviser Award, Best Newcomer Award, Clinical Services Star Award, Team Leader Award, Sustainability Champion Award, Innovation Award, and Pharmacy Team of the Year Award.
