National Savings and Investments (NS&I) has announced the Premium Bonds winners for this month.

The July draw saw 809 people in Wales win a share of more than £2.56 million, with prizes ranging between £100,000 and £1,000.

What is a premium bond?

Four lucky winners in Wales won £100,000 each in the July Premium Bonds draw.

One of the winners, from Cardiff, had the bond number 298NY017750.

This bond was valued at £10,000 and was purchased in March 2017 with an overall holding of £50,000.

The second winner, also from Cardiff, was bond number 291GN169528.

This bond was valued at £43,540 and was purchased in December 2016 with an overall holding of £50,000.

Bond number 437HP500127 was the third winner from Wales. 

This bond was valued at £2,000 and was purchased in January 2021 with an overall holding of £33,000.

This bond was valued at £50,000 and was also purchased in January 2021 with an overall holding of £50,000.

Every month, two winners in the UK take home £1 million.

There are also prize values of £100,000, £50,000, £25,000, £10,000, £5,000 and £1,000.

Welsh bondholders shared in over £2.56 million in the July draw, with four winners claiming £100,000 and another six winning the £50,000 prize.
