A man was seriously hurt following an attack outside a popular nightclub.

The victim was battered outside Popworld in Solihull town centre by two men early on March 1.

He suffered serious head injuries and needed hospital treatment.

West Midlands Police launched an urgent appeal for witnesses and two CCTV images of men who may have information.

Officers asked for anyone who might have taken photos or filmed the attack to get in touch.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said on Tuesday April 14: “Recognise these two men?

“Officers investigating a serious assault in Solihull are looking for any information which could help identify them.

“Shortly after 1.20am on 1 March, a man was violently assaulted outside Popworld in Poplar Road, Solihull.

“He was approached by two men, who attacked him and caused serious head injuries which required hospital treatment.

“Officers investigating the attack are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen what happened.

“They are especially keen to hear from anyone who may have taken photos or filmed the assault.
