After winning Best Web Series in February at The North Film Festival in New York for ‘Wheel Gone Kid 4-Crash Course’, the latest short film in the series won again on this side of the Atlantic at The Sykehouse International Film Festival in Yorkshire. Collecting the Best Comedy award whilst a second film ‘Twin Leaps’ that also stars Dudley based Rita and Reece Jagpal-Mohan won the Best Pilot category.
’Wheel Gone Kid 4-Crash Course’ which features a guest appearance from legendary football manager Neil Warnock is part of an ongoing short film series that began when Reece was only 6 years of age. Such as been the success of the films Reece and his hairdresser mum Rita have been in person to film festivals in Hollywood, Barcelona and New York to collect awards.
The camera keeps rolling as later this month they film the next Wheel Gone Kid film. A light hearted family comedy series they are looking for extras to take part in an Elvis Presley lookalike competition which all adds to the fun of the film.
