A man has died following a house fire in Co Antrim.
Firefighters were alerted to the fire at Main Street in Ballymoney shortly before 7am on Tuesday.
Three fire appliances, two from Ballymoney and one from Coleraine and the Air Ambulance attended.
Police have now confirmed that a man in his 50s died.
The PSNI stated: “Police received a report of a fire shortly before 7:00am and attended alongside colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service who worked to extinguish the blaze. This is not being treated as deliberate.
“Colleagues from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service conveyed one man to hospital where he sadly died.
“Traffic management for this area is no longer in place.”

Earlier today, a spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Fire Service (NIFRS) said that one person was rescued and left in the care of the ambulance service.
“Firefighters were called to reports of a fire at a mid-terrace flat at Main Street, Ballymoney,” they said.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one jet and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
“One casualty was rescued from the property and transferred to the care of NIAS.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation and firefighters left the scene at 9.56am.”
