JACKSON, Tenn.– A resource is now available following a dedication ceremony of its newest location Monday.

With a ribbon cutting event begins the official opening of the new north campus of The Refuge Outpatient Counseling Center with Youthtown of Tennessee .

Personnel from the center as well as local dignitaries were all on hand for the dedication.
Leaders say The Refuge is a non-profit, faith-based organization that offers professional treatment services for co-occurring mental health disorders in children, adolescents, and adults.

They add their services are gender-responsive, empirically informed, family-focused, and thoroughly Christ-centered.
Leaders with The Refuge say this new center will enable them to better serve the Jackson community.

“We already have potentially 16 to 20 clients that are currently already involved with The Refuge, transferring from the south campus to the north location,” said Nicholas Summar, CEO of The Refuge.

“You can to the our website, therefugecounseling.net and that has all of our information. It has links to register, to call and just answer a lot of questions that you may have about what therapy looks like here at The Refuge,” said Meredith Erlandson, Marketing and Development Director of The Refuge.

The new location of The Refuge is at 382 Carriage House Drive, Suite C, in north Jackson.
The south location is at 3641 Youthtown Road in Pinson.
